Services for Community Borrowers / Visitors
GGC Kaufman Library Welcomes Visitors
Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL) patrons and Gwinnett Technical College (GTC) faculty, staff and students may sign up for a library account, may borrow up to three books at a time and must present a current library card and valid, government-issued photo ID when checking out items. The checkout period is two weeks with one renewal.
Library Policies and Patron Requirements
All items in the library stacks are available for check out. Fines are charged at $0.25 per book per day. Lost books incur the replacement cost + $4.50 processing fee.
- GCPL patron is 18 years old or older.
- GTC patron is currently enrolled or employed.
- Patron has presented both a current government-issued photo ID and their GCPL card or current GTC ID.
Visitor Computer Access
Visitors can use one of the guest access computers. Please ask for login access at the information desk.
Study Rooms
Study rooms may be reserved only by GGC students, faculty and staff.
