ABOUT Placement Test Registration
Expect a secure, quiet and comfortable testing environment, free of distractions and interruptions when taking the ACCUPLACER placement exam at GGC.
ACCUPLACER* placement testing takes place during the week and the second Saturday of each month.
When you arrive on testing day, make sure to bring a picture ID, and for students who have applied to GGC, have your student ID number. With the exception of WritePlacer庐, the exam is not timed, but plan on spending at least three hours completing the test prior to Testing Services' closing time.
The fee for the placement exam is $30 for GGC applicants and $30 for re-takes; $50 for non-GGC applicants and $30 for re-takes.
GGC accepts the following credit cards, in your name only, and you must have the card with you: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Other forms of payment include debit cards or money orders payable to "杏吧原创." GGC does not accept personal checks or cash for testing.
There are no changes to the WritePlacer庐 exam or scoring.
Non-native English speaking students should also take the placement test. Only one placement test retake is approved.
