The sixth annual 杏吧原创 Teaching (GGC), Learning, and Research Symposium, hosted by the Business, Economic, and Applied Research (BEAR) Center, with the support of the EXperiential Learning And Critical Thinking Plan (EXACT) team, invite submissions for a hybrid conference to be held Jan. 15-16, 2026.

The conference theme is 鈥淏old Ideas, Big Impact鈥 and will feature three faculty tracks: the Scholarship of Teaching of Learning (SoTL) research, non-SoTL empirical research, and EXACT research and development. Student scholars can submit to the student research track. This year鈥檚 conference will also feature workshops sponsored by the Academy of Business Education. Submissions that align with the theme and other topics are welcomed.

By submitting, authors are attesting that their work is unpublished at the time of submission. Submissions will be double-blind reviewed by faculty with subject matter expertise. Authors will present in a concurrent session format, either virtually or in person. Proceedings are abstract only.

Undergraduate students must have a faculty sponsor who is familiar with the research and supports submission to an academic conference. The faculty sponsor may be a co-author; however, the majority of both the research and the presentation should be done by the student(s).

The submission deadline is Friday, Nov. 7, 2025. A 250-word abstract and contact information for all co-authors are needed. Presenter, coauthors and attendees are asked to consider serving as a reviewer. Decision notices will be sent by Friday, Dec. 5, 2025.
